Sophistafunk raised the roof at their new cd release party

Trying to fall asleep but the night keeps replaying in my head.

 “I’m not even thinking of this as a show”, Jack Brown said. “I’m thinking of this as just a great party to celebrate!”

And celebrate we all did!! The SOLD OUT night began with Swift Technique transporting us all down to New Orleans with their funky, get down, full of life sound. 

 

And just when I was sure the building must be leveled due to the atomic energy that was released, Sophistafunk took over the stage. 

While just minutes ago the stage had been packed with a band of 8, you’d think it would seem empty with just three members. But Jack’s larger than life words, Adam’s command of Funk and Emanuel’s brilliant drumming filled up every corner of the room 

It truly was a night to celebrate- Funk n Waffles’ 10 year anniversary, writing and performing the theme song to Guy Fieri’s new show on the Food Network, and the release of their FOURTH CD tonight!!! Congrats guys, you deserve it all!!
